So you’ve decided that you want to install shower speakers in your bathroom! The next thing you need to do is decide which style you want. Here are some guidelines to help you.
- What is your budget like?
- How long are you going to be living in your current residence?
- Do you own or rent?
If you just want a basic speaker setup and don’t want to spend a lot of money, you would probably be better off going with some portable model of shower speakers. If you are renting an apartment, then you probably aren’t allowed to make changes to the structure of the building by adding in-wall speakers anyway. But if you own your own home and you’re planning on being there for a while, then perhaps flat mounted shower speakers would be the best bet!
In fact, flat shower speakers can be a great way to further update a bathroom remodel, especially if you’re renovating your bathroom to be modern. The flat speakers may even match the appearance of some of the new modern shower faucets that are available, such as the flat ones that mount on the wall with multiple faucets, or the “rainfall” type that mounts flush against the ceiling. If you are already going to be working in there anyway, replacing the tile and shower and everything, then adding shower speakers into the wall wouldn’t be too big of a deal.
When you decide to install shower speakers into your bathroom, you are really only limited by your imagination. You can get speakers in many styles and colors.
